Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace and Justice Sing Along

Join Old Town School of Folk Music teaching artists as they lead songs of peace and justice. Be inspired by the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and gather in community as we celebrate the life and philosophy of this great American leader. Focus on songs from the heyday of the ‘60s civil rights movement including music of Marvin Gaye, Sly Stone and much more.

You can attend this event virtually! We will send out a link close to the day, so if you sign up know that link is on its way!

All ages are invited.

Whether you are able to attend this event or not we urge you to spend time during the day reflecting on Dr. King and his contribution to our country and the world. One of his many inspiring quotes reads “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?’
