Have you always wanted to learn to Improvise?
In this class we will provide an easy-going, supportive environment to learn the basics of comedic improvising. We will cover all the skills you need to begin improvising including short form games, the art of listening, and the basics of scenic improv. Along the way we'll learn how these skills can help you be more comfortable and confident any time you are on stage, be it with an instrument, comedically, or during any kind of presentation. You will also learn valuable skills that can help you learn how to navigate performing in a group and will hopefully learn some tricks and tips you can take back to your own musical improvisation and performance.
This class does not require that you play an instrument, and no instrument is needed during class.
This class culminates in a short performance the final week of class - save the date!
