Greg will be in town briefly playing with the Kathy Kallick Band and was able to make time for a workshop.

Greg is a veteran teacher having taught intermediate to advanced dobro at music camps from Alaska to France. Greg will share techniques for improving your tone, controlling unwanted noise and playing in unfamiliar keys. One of his most popular workshops is about the lowering of the bottom G string to E and the vast new palette of sounds that it opens up with this EBDGBD tuning. Greg will bring tablature from several of his popular song arrangements such as Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Orange Blossom Special and Folsom Prison Blues. Bring your dobro, the workshop will be hands on with lots of new ideas, new licks, a little theory and ways to make your playing more interesting.
