Classical music may be all about the sheet music by reputation these days, but history would say otherwise. In this workshop we will dive into some of the earlier improvisation treatises in classical music history, and jam like it's 1685! Open to intermediate and advance levels, and must be able to read music. Previous improvisation experience not required. Participants will get a packet of music as a hard copy and also emailed to them. This workshop is open to all instrumentalists even including winds and piano.
This is a hybrid workshop. You can attend in person or online. A recording will be provided to all enrollees.
