Washboard wizard Barb Silverman leads hands-on skills covering four-count rhythm patterns common to jug band, swing, old-time, and cajun/zydeco. We start with simple patterns and build, working on right-hand embellishments and left-hand steady rhythm. Techniques will range from the shuffle pattern to triplets. Take the plunge and rub your way to stardom.
Have a washboard plus two thimbles or two bottle openers.
