Beginning Mountain Dulcimer is for players who want to study the basics of mountain dulcimer playing. The mountain dulcimer is a versatile instrument that’s fun and easy to play due to the comfortable position and layout of the fret board. You’ll be playing easy melodies in the first class as you learn the fundamental skills that will get you off to a great start including basic chord shapes and rhythms as well as right and left hand techniques. Dulcimers will be in the DAD tuning, which you will learn in class.
