Is your child ready to "graduate" from Pre-Ballet but still wants a class that is a mix of ballet and creative movement? Creative Ballet develops your child's understanding of ballet fundamentals while continuing to explore rhythm, space and movement basics through creative movement activities. We'll learn ballet terminology, improvise to upbeat songs, and start to put moves together into longer combinations. We will also introduce your child to some dance history: each session we'll learn about a new story ballet (such as Swan Lake, the Nutcracker, Firebird) and will dance through many of the scenes from that story, exploring the characters and meaning through steps and style.
