In this two hour, hands-on workshop Mary will explore left and right hand moves that drive this great feel good, fingerpicking guitar style. She will touch on a little music of the Piedmont masters as well as tunes of her own. She will explore syncopation, movable chords and alternating thumb. Class will come away with a few different guitar arrangements and a better understanding of the feel good spirit of this age old music.
Both the ability to read tab and some fingerpicking experience will be helpful to particioants . Students are encouraged to record the class (audio and/or video).
