Intermediate guitar players hoping to follow in the tradition of Motown artists such as Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, and Al Green, look no further!
Motown for Fingerstyle Guitar will feature Michael Miles' beautifully arranged instrumental fingerstyle guitar transcriptions of Al Green’s "Let’s Stay Together" and Smokey Robinson’s "I Second That Emotion," among others. Students will receive detailed transcriptions, with tablature, and have the opportunity to make audio/video recordings of the classes.
Participants in the Motown for Fingerstyle Guitar class should have some experience with: fingerpicking; ability to read tablature; barre chords; chord extensions and inversions
