This class is for folks who love playing songs from the golden age of American songwriting (1920s-1950s) in a fun, easy-going environment. We’ll be playing swing-style ukulele with songs from some of the greats: Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Irving Berlin, Dorothy Fields, Harold Arlen, Jerome Kern and more. If you enjoy playing songs like “Tonight You Belong To Me”, you'll love this class! Session to session we will address different thematic avenues and side streets of Tin Pan Alley and the Great American Songbook. Suitable for anyone with Ukulele 3 or equivalent experience and for those new to this genre as well as seasoned regulars.
