Shim Sham Dance

$60 ($55 members) · 60 minutes · Weekly for 3 weeks

The Shim Sham is a dance that originated in the late 1920s. It is a particular tap dance routine that is regarded as the tap dancer’s national anthem. Since than, there have been many different variations. Reggio “The Hoofer” McLaughlin will be teaching a three-part series on his variation of the shim sham, on Sunday, January 14, 21, and 28, 2018.

Prerequisites

Some familiarity with tap.
