Join Khady Malal Badji, teaching artist and core member of the Bakalama Dance Company in Senegal, West Africa for this exciting workshop. She will cover high-energy traditional dances from the Casamance region in southern Senegal. Khady has been learning the dance and musical traditions of Senegal since she was a child. She has trained at the National School of the Arts in Dakar and performs and teaches regularly at festivals and conferences around the world.
