Join members of the Garifuna Collective before their evening performance for a workshop exploring traditional Garifuna rhythms and songs. The group will demonstrate rhythms such as the Hunguhungun and Punta as well as the songs and dances that accompany them. There will also be an explanation of the rich history and culture of the Garifuna people in addition to a question and answer session. Bring a drum such as a conga or barrile if you have one. Free for kids!
