Join the group Rajasthani Caravan after their World Music Wednesday concert for a workshop in Rajathani folk music. The group will introduce the instruments they use and talk about the cultural context for their music. The workshop will include a Khartal (Rajasthani castanet) lesson and demonstration. Bring a drums to learn Rajasthani rhythms too! Any drum will do but Dholak is preferred. Khartals will be available for purchase.
