Join Alsarah & The Nubatones for a unique participatory workshop on Nubian rhythms and East-African Retro-Pop. The group will demonstrate how to blend traditional sounds of Sudan with contemporary music and instruments inviting participants to jam along. Instrumentation will feature East-African vocal styles, oud, bass, and percussion. Bring your instruments! The workshop/jam is open to all. Vocalists, string players, and percussionists will find the workshop especially interesting.
