Students will get a hands on experience with Caribbean music and percussion specifically the steelpan, Trinidad and Toago's national instrument. Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra Steelpan students, led by instructor Malika Green, will help guide participants in technique. The workshop will culminate in a mini- concert featuring the CYSO Kaiso Steel Orchestra.
