This workshop will be aimed towards those who can keep time frailing, picking or strumming and can change a few chords comfortably.
Extracting from Seeger’s classic book and recording “How to Play the 5-String Banjo”, participants will explore in detail, Pete's signature accompaniment techniques. “Up-picking,” “frailing,” “the lullaby strum,” “whamming,” and blues are all part of the mix. And don't forget: We'll be singing too!
Mark has studied Seeger’s style in depth and toured with WeaverMania! for six years. He's had the honor to perform with Seeger on several occasions.
It’s only $25 per person and those attending should bring a banjo that is in playable condition.
