A class for guitarists wishing to explore the arrangements and the approach of artists whose work establish the voice of the acoustic guitar. Roots artists like Woody Guthrie, Lead Belly and Mississipi John Hurt will be covered, as well as samplings from revival artists like Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk and singer songwriters like Neil Young. Mark will also share some of what he discovered in learning first hand from folk artists like Gamble Rogers, Fred Holstein and Brownie McGhee.
