TThe workshop will be divided in two parts: First, Stephane will introduce the elements for a good and efficient practice time, the tools needed, the right pacing, and the right state of mind. An efficient practice leads to faster and deeper progress, often avoiding injuries and frustration.
The second part will be conducted in the form of a Q and A interaction, based on the subject of improvisation. Improvising is composing live; a musical message within a frame, so what's more appropriate that to improvise a workshop on improvisation?
The goal is for everyone to leave the workshop with a concrete set of exercise to improve improvisation skills. The gypsies use a simple and visual system, that offers the best possible foundation for any type of improvisation. It can give a very clear starting point to a beginner, or help find new avenues for more experimented improvisers.
