In this beginner-friendly class, study traditional Cajun melodies and master the techniques that bring every classic song alive. We’ll be learning everything from jam session favorites to obscure gems. Practice taking the spotlight with melodies and learn to accompany other soloists. We’ll explore the original Cajun French lyrics of songs and study the correlation between the accordion and harmonica, as well as understanding chord progressions and how the harmonica can carry its weight in a full band or jam session setting.
