In this class, we’ll observe nature closely as we develop ideas for our art. We’ll then take this information and create artwork, inspired by nature, that shows an awareness of principle elements in art: color, line, texture, and composition. Each class, we draw inspiration from a core song/singing game and a picture book read aloud. We begin with open ended artful exploration; we continue with a song, a read aloud picture book, and a guided art project; we end with time exploring in the sensory water table.
