Are a world music group from Evanston, rooted in various ethnic communities: Danish, Jewish, Greek, Hispanic, Irish, and Bulgarian, reflecting American diversity. They will be special guests at the November meeting of the Fiddle Club of the World with a short concert presention of Balkan, Klezmer and Scandinavian melodies, perhaps with a little dancing. All multi-instrumentalists, the Hi-Dukes are Terran Doehrer, Zoï Doehrer and Jutta Distler. And yes, Jutta, a native of Denmark, plays the fiddle.
