This class allows you to participate in your child’s journey with music. Your child learns basic elements of the guitar and begins using this knowledge to play music. Class repertoire includes age-appropriate popular songs from the past and present, including folk and other styles.
This parent-child class is an exploration of music, song and musical concepts through the guitar. We learn to care for the guitar, hold the guitar, name its parts, and delight in the sounds we can make with the guitar! While grownups don't need to bring their own guitar, they participate alongside their children, witnessing and supporting their child's growth.
Students should bring a guitar to class.
