July 25 & 26
Kids Ensemble is great for kids who are looking to expand their playing experience. As a part of the ensemble, students pursue their instrument while learning to play in a group. Ensemble playing gives students a greater sense of their instruments’ role and allows them to express individuality in a group.
Kids Ensemble also serves as an introduction to other instruments. Learning the basics of other instruments greatly develops listening skills and introduces the concepts of melody, harmony and chords.
We will provide several new instruments for your child to experiment with in class. Instruments include: half-sized banjos, upright bass, piano, guitar, mandolin and xylophone.
For all stringed instruments, harmonica, voice, drums, and piano. Must have program manager and/or teacher recommendation to register for this class.
