Take a tour of flamenco guitar techniques including rasgueado, pulgar, alzapua, picado, arpeggio, and more. Flamenco is usually played on a nylon string guitar but for this introduction feel free to bring your steel string. Who knows? You may end up buying a nylon string guitar once you experience these exotic rhythms. Students will learn the basics and be prepared for Flamenco Guitar 1 which is offered the following session.
