Teachers at the Old Town School

Pedro Garcia

Guitar

Classical through Contemporary

Pedro Garcia picked up the electric guitar in 2005 and started his self-directed journey. In 2015, Pedro received his Bachelors in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music and learned how to play/teach 17 instruments. Soon after graduation, Pedro started to perform in different musical ensembles ranging from Classical Guitar, Brazilian percussion, and to classic Rock n’ Roll. When teaching, Pedro teaches his students the skills of self-efficient musicians for the purposes of making his students life long musicians and critical thinkers. Most importantly, Pedro performs music for crowds of people to this day and has his students perform a song at the end of each class!
