Wiggleworms
Miranda Winters is a musician, artist, educator and mom with a passion for introducing students to the creative process. Miranda has previously taught alternative explorations of music as a guitar instructor and band coach at Girls Rock! Chicago. Using her experiences as a song-writer and touring musician in local band Melkbelly, Miranda’s goal is to show children from all walks of life that they can learn to create and enjoy music in a variety of ways and on their own terms. During her time in the Arts Education program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago Miranda focused on creating community through collaboration in the classroom and hopes to share this in every Wiggleworms class.
