Jeannine is a proud native of Dayton, Ohio and an enthusiastic mover. She loves being in the studio with others who love to move as much as she does.
Jeannine approaches each of her classes with the attitude that dance is an accessible art form for everyone. She seeks to find means for dancers of all ages and abilities to experience the technical and dynamic aspects of the forms she teaches. Her classes are energetic, disciplined, and focus on each dancer as an individual creative artist.
Jeannine holds degrees from Indiana University’s Ballet Department and the Graduate School of Dance at The Ohio State University. Between degrees, she performed with classical and contemporary ballet companies on the east coast. She continues to perform locally with Valerie Alpert Dance Company and is on the faculty at Dominican University and the College of Lake County where she teaches classical ballet, contemporary dance forms, and choreographs for campus events. She has taught dance for more than 20 years throughout the Midwest and New England, everywhere from neighborhood dance studios to professional academies and universities.
