Gabriella is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and performer who thinks absolutely everyone should play the piano! Classically trained since age 5, she is a versatile player who strives to make the learning process fun and rewarding for students of all ages and abilities. Music theory, aural skills, sight-reading, improvising, arranging, and ensemble playing all come into play in her lessons. With practice, her students build a musical understanding that can allow them to feel good about their own playing, whether for themselves or with any other player.
Gabriella is a Music Director for theater and comedy shows in Chicago. She composed the music and lyrics for, and performed in, "Lucky, A Musical" (Second City, 2018). She is also a proud member of the Barrel of Monkeys Theater Company. You can usually catch her at the piano, and sometimes onstage, at the iO Theater. Her musical heroes include Prince, Janelle Monáe, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
