Eric Noden


Eric Noden is an acoustic guitar player who specializes in the 20’s & 30’s style of blues and roots music. He has been on the staff of OTS since 1994 when he relocated to Chicago from Kent, Ohio. His influences are many and include Rev. Gary Davis, Charley Patton, Robert Pete Williams, Mississippi John Hurt and Andy Cohen.

Eric is known for his complex finger-picking style of guitar playing and soulful singing and songwriting. Noden has released 3 critically acclaimed solo CD’s including “55 Highway”, “Midwest Blues” and “The Original” on the Diving Duck records label as well as “Live” with fellow OTS staff member Joe Filisko. Eric can be heard around the Chicago area and beyond performing solo, with Joe Filisko and also with his band the Sanctified Grumblers (featuring Rick “Cookin’” Sherry).
