Teachers at the Old Town School

Corinne Mucha

Children’s Art, Adult Art

Styles - Comics, Drawing

Techniques - Cartooning, Drawing, Writing, Storytelling

Corinne encourages her students to use their imaginations as much as possible. We spend each class learning new drawing, cartooning, or storytelling techniques. There is a lot of time for students to explore their own ideas and stories. We talk about silly things, tell a lot of jokes, and have a lot of fun.

Corinne has been making comics since 2003, and has written and drawn three graphic novels. She’s been a recipient of an Ignatz award and a Xeric award, both awards for cartoonists.
