The Global Dance Party series offers an exciting opportunity to experiment with dance styles from around the globe. Each evening will feature a dance class followed by two hours of music from live bands or DJs in our Myron R. Szold Music & Dance Hall.
Get ready to samba at this Brazilian dance party! The Rio Bamba sound is a unique blend of bossa nova, samba, and Latin jazz played by world class musicians. The group moves easily from classic and swinging jazz, vocal or instrumental to a Brazilian Samba that brings everyone to the dance floor with it's irresistible rhythms.
