Laura Doherty & The Heartbeats

Kids' Concert

4544 N Lincoln Ave · Gary and Laura Maurer Concert Hall · 773.728.6000

  • A Chicago favorite in the family music scene, Laura Doherty & The Heartbeats, acoustically rock your kid's world with original folk-pop tunes that will get even the shyest wallflower to wiggle across the dance floor. Doherty tours nationally, but always loves performing at her favorite hometown venue, the Old Town School of Folk Music, where she is also a longtime Wiggleworms teacher. Her "El Train" and "Hot Dog" song have become highly-requested kid classics! She'll be performing favorites from her 3 award-winning albums, along with songs from her newest recording "Animal Tracks."
