Black History Month Special: Spanning Continents & Connecting Stories of Struggle, Survival & Spirituality
featuring Dr. Sylviane Diouf, Jasiri X, and Lindblom's A Cappella Choir

Experience the power of art through a story of song from West Africa to America. The evening will feature performances by artist-in-residence Noura Mint Seymali, thought-provoking hip hop rapper JasiriX, Lindblom Math & Science Academy's A Cappella Choir, and will be hosted by African Diaspora historian Dr. Sylviane Diouf. The performances will be woven into discussions about spirituality, social change and the ongoing struggles and hope in communities around one of Chicago's South-Side gems: Lindblom Math & Science Academy. Free and open to the public.
