As part of our celebration of Old Town School being at our Armitage location for 50 years we are offering some special classes. This one will explore the songs of 1968 for for electric guitars bass and drum. This period of pop music was among the most fruitful ever; possibly because Top 40 radio had yet broken off into numerous genres. From Credence to Cream, Janis to Jimi, The Velvets and all Psychedelia in between, the list is endless and the Plugged In Ensemble will approach a variety of these songs and artists. Plans are that the sister section 68 Unplugged will come together with this group later in the session and it will be a certified Love-In.
