As part of our celebration of Old Town School being at our Armitage location for 50 years we are offering several special classes. This one will explore songs of 1968 for acoustic guitars and voices. This period of pop music was among the most fruitful ever; possibly because Top 40 radio had yet broken off into numerous genres. From Burt Bacharach to The Temptations, Aretha Franklin to Frank Zappa and The Band to The Who, the list is endless and we will learn and perform a good numbers of tunes from this era. Plans are that we will join the 1968 Plugged In Ensemble section later in the session and it will be a certified Love-In.
