Explore the style and technique of legendary bluesman, Robert Johnson. We’ll delve into his right hand picking style, as well as the chords, riffs and other “tricks of the trade”. This workshop will focus on open tunings and basic bottleneck slide technique using blues classics such as “Preaching’ Blues”, “C’mon in my Kitchen”, “Hellhound on my Trail”, “Terraplane Blues”, and “Crossroads Blues”. Some written material will be provided. Bring a recording device and a guitar slide.
