On Tuesday, May 8th, we are thrilled to host a group of early childhood educators from China through a training program they are doing with the highly regarded Erikson Institute, leader in the field of early childhood education and child development. Erikson Institute chose our Childrens’ Program at The Old Town School as an important education model to observe; an innovative, dynamic experience for young children and their families that the educators and education administrators from China must see! Wow!
We invite you to join us for this wonderful morning and participate in a sample Wiggleworms class. The class will begin promptly and run for 20 - 25 minutes in Szold Hall at 4545 N. Lincoln. About 10 - 12 adults will be observing class, and everyone will sit on the rug in a circle around the inner class circle so it feels organic and loving for everyone! Prior to and following the class, we will have a room reserved for snacks and visiting with other families and teachers. We will have a little thank you goody bag for each family to take home too! It really is fun and special morning.
We'd so appreciate having you as part of this special class and sharing our early childhood programming with China! Space will be limited to 10 children and their loving parent-caregivers so please register as soon as possible!
