Deconstruct chords, learn the rules of key signatures, understand the feeling of various time signatures, and master music notation. Uncover the music of a rock guitar chart, a familiar pop music song, 12-Bar Blues, or your own composition. Each week, add new songs to your songbag! With the guidance of an accomplished pianist giving personalized instruction, you’ll progress at your own pace on piano assignments just for you. To begin this class, you must be able to independently read music on the grand staff.
In Spring Youth Piano, you’ll build confidence in your musicality as you improve your understanding of music theory, note reading, and piano technique - making playing the piano meaningful and even easier. Become an independent, motivated player and learn to love playing the piano!
