Wiggleworms Program

Music has always been a part of Karen’s life, and she’s grateful to be able to share it with people of all ages in different settings. As a Wiggleworms teacher at the Old Town School of Folk Music, she engages families with young children in an interactive music-based learning environment. As a teaching artist with Ravinia’s “Reach, Teach, and Play” music discovery program, she develops unique musical programs with teachers and students in their own classrooms. As a performing artist, she brings her passion and life to the music and audiences she loves. Karen is featured on the Wiggleworms CDs, “Songs for Wiggleworms” and “Wiggleworms Love You”. Karen’s own recording “Karen 4 Kids” is available on CDbaby.com.

Education: B.A. in Elementary Education, Northeastern Illinois University, 1989; M.A. Early Childhood Special Education
