Bill Hohnke loves teaching students wherever they are in their musical journey. His voice students enjoy finding their best sound and working on repertoire that is fun and challenging. Bill believes that anyone can sing and should do so as much as possible! His beginning piano students enjoy his patience and encouragement. Bill makes sure to tailor his lessons to the goals of his students to maximize their success.
Since graduating from Adrian College with a degree in Music Education, Bill has been sharing music with students. He has worked with singers in community theatres and high schools directing music for their musical theatre productions. Bill has studied the Orff and Kodaly music teaching methods. He regularly substitute teaches for the University of Chicago Laboratory School. Bill is also a founding member of the Hyde Park Community Players, a local theatre group. In the summers, he directs a theatre camp for children in Michigan and has taught elementary theatre in Battle Creek and various spots in Chicago.
