Grupo Cantaclaro

Grupo Cantaclaro is an extraordinary musical group from the plains of Colombia in South America. This group performs traditional music called “Musica Llanera” using the Colombian Cuatro (a cousin to the Puerto Rican Cuatro), harp, and maracas. This beautiful music is indigenous to Colombia and Venezuela and is performed by one of the most highly acclaimed artists in the genre. This performance is made possible through a partnership with the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance.
