Lost Bayou Ramblers
Saturday, July 8th at 3:00pm on the Main Stage

Steeped in the deep swamp sounds of early Cajun music, The Lost Bayou Ramblers from Pilette, Louisiana were immersed in the roots of Cajun music since birth. Following in the footsteps of the family business, Louis and Andre Michot started early under the tutelage of their father and uncles who comprised Les Freres Michot. Eventually the new Brothers Michot hooked up with Chris "Oscar" Courville's stomping drums, Alan LeFleur’s thumping upright bass and Jon Bertrand's tight rhythm guitar to form the Lost Bayou Ramblers.

Expect it to go something like this:

Your toe will tap when you hear the deep swamp beat. You will get up off your grassy seat upon hearing the first melodic strains of the accordion and fiddle in tandem. By the time the first bout of Cajun-French lyrics comes around, you will be dancing around your well-staked picnic blanket in Welles Park like you were from Acadiana!
