Hacienda Brothers
Saturday, July 9th at 4:45PM on the Main Stage

From the dusty streets of Tuscon come the Hacienda Brothers. Their music makes good on the promise to walk the line between classic country and vintage soul by way of Muscle Shoals, Memphis, and Nashville. "Honky tonk soul" is the easy label to tag on them, but these Brothers have done their homework while attending the old school, and it clearly shows in their ability to write rave-ups in the time-honored tradition of those that came before them like Waylon Jennings and Johnny Paycheck for starters.

The Hacienda Brothers are an inspired collaboration between Chris Gaffney, who put in some road time with Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men, and the Paladins famed guitar picker, Dave Gonzalez. Together they write songs from the gut as if they had just been punched; raw and emotional, rough-hewn, and with the seams showing.

The Hacienda Brothers are dragging traditional honky tonk kicking and screaming into the 21st Century.
