CPS Teacher Day

Join us for the best professional development day ever! This arts education celebration features workshops in guitar, jug band instrument making, creative movement, and percussion. We'll also have an interactive performance by Lamajamal, a unique blend of Balkan, Gypsy, Arabic and North African dance music. Learn more about our different artist-in-residence programs and meet teaching artists. Plus, learn arts activities that you can take right back to your classroom.
- Bring a guitar, if you have one! (Please let me know if you don't)
- Lunch will be provided.
- 9am-3pm (check-in and breakfast treats begins at 8:30am)
- Fee is $20. Free for CPS teachers from participating Artist-in-Residence partner schools.
- 5 CPDUs!
- All participants will be entered in a drawing for free Old Town School group classes and a gift certificate to The Learning Tree teachers' supply store!
