Global Dance Party

The Global Dance Party series offers an exciting opportunity to experiment with dance styles from around the globe. Each evening will feature a dance class followed by two hours of music from live bands or DJs in our Myron R. Szold Music & Dance Hall.

Tickets are just $12 per person unless otherwise noted and $5 with an Urban Gateways Teen Arts Pass.

Charangueo play a wide range of Afro-Cuban jazz styles from Cha-Cha-Cha, Guaguanco, and Danzon, to Guajira, Guaracha, Mambo, and Son. Charangueo was formed through the vision of René Avila, the bass player and leader of the group.
