The Global Dance Party series offers an exciting opportunity to experiment with dance styles from around the globe. Each evening will feature a dance class followed by two hours of music from live bands or DJs in our Myron R. Szold Music & Dance Hall.
The Volo Bogtrotters, long one of the Midwest's favorite old-time string bands will again bring their double and triple fiddle power to the Global Dance Party. Besides veteran Old Town School instructors Steve Rosen and Paul Tyler, the Volo lineup includes fiddlers Chirps Smith and Fred Campeau, guitarist Jim Nelson and bassist Tony Scarimbolo.
