    A weekly showcase of world music and dance featuring the best local and touring talent! Most shows are Wednesday nights at 8:30 PM.

  • Alon Nechushtan and Talat Trio perform music inspired by new interpretations of Klezmer, Middle Eastern grooves, with both Ashkenaz and Serphardic influences, through North-African themes, Judeo spirituals, Israeli Nigunim and Piyyutim; Roaming between the borders of jazz, groove and folk.

    Alon Nechushtan and Talat Trio have played festivals around the globe including the Far East (China and Philippines), South America (Savassi, Rio and Sao-Paolo Klezmer Festival), North America (Toronto, Montreal), Europe (U.K and London Klezmer Festival), Washington D.C and currently are based in New York City.

    Alon Nechushtan hails from Israel where he studied classical music in Jerusalem's Rubin Academy of Music. To pursue his dream to study jazz and integrate it to his original music, he moved to New York City, which is now his second home after graduating from the New England Conservatory where he studied piano with some of the worlds greatest living piano legends including Paul Bley, Danilo Perez, Fred Hersch, Uri Caine.
