    “Everything You Need to Know About the Music Industry in 2014.” A half-day (3.5 hours) rock-n-roll boot camp where students learn the top 10 things they need to know to take their bands from the basement to the stage!

    Greg and Jim provide an insider's guide to practical business-related topics for students interested in a career in the Music Industry including how to market your music, common mistakes young artists make, who's on your support team (Do really need a manager, agent, pr person, etc.?), how to get noticed at SXSW, legal issues and concerns, and new trends in the music industry.

    Students receive handouts with tips and resources.

    Musicians who register by March 10th will receive a free assessment of their Web site from Jim or Greg and an opportunity to offer questions, in advance, to be addressed during the program. Ask your question using this form.
