Global Dance Party
The Global Dance Party is a new Friday night series offering an exciting opportunity to experiment with dance styles from around the globe. Each evening will feature a dance class followed by two hours of music from live bands or DJs in our brand new Myron R. Szold Music & Dance Hall.

Joe Rendón Quintet
The leading congero in Chicago, Joe Rendón, brings his deep knowledge of traditional Afro-Cuban percussion and chants as well as his virtuosity and ability to adapt the congas to any style of music. Joe has performed with Tito Puente, Paquito D'Rivera, Andy Montanez, Irakere, Armando Peraza and many other Latin artists. He plays hard hitting tropical rhythms that will make everyone dance all night. Get ready for a night of Salsa, Mambo & Cha Cha Cha!
Saladeen Alamin will teach a Latin dance class at 8:30 PM.
